JAMMU, Dec 26: Prof. (Dr.) Sangeeta Sudan, Principal of Govt. Degree College Mahanpur, felicitated Dr. Jogbinder Singh Soodan, Physical Director/PTI, for his remarkable representation of the college at the 10th Asia Pacific Conference APCESS 2024 in Kaifeng, China, from June 16-19, 2024. The conference, themed "Active and Sustainable Community Living: The Global Partnerships through Physical Activity, Exercise, and Health Science," was organized by Henan University in collaboration with ACESS and GCH. It brought together 300-700 participants from 28 countries to explore global partnerships for holistic health aligned with UNSDG goals.
Dr. Soodan presented a symposium paper titled "Health Status, Topography, Playfields, and Socioeconomic Factors of Tribal Population of Jammu and Kashmir: A Demographic Survey."
A distinguished academic, Dr. Soodan has previously served as a Sports Scientist at SAI NS NIS Patiala and an Assistant Professor under Punjabi University, Patiala. He has also led international initiatives, including the first-ever International Conference on "Health Fitness Yoga and Sports Science" at GDC Kathua, in collaboration with GCH, USA.
