Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 26: The Department of Punjabi and IQAC, Government College for Women, Bhagwati Nagar, hosted a one-day seminar under the guidance of Principal Dr. Meeru Abrol to commemorate the supreme sacrifice of Guru Gobind Singh Ji's four Sahibzade. The event began with a ceremonial lamp lighting and tributes to the Sahibzade. Dr. Meeru Abrol, in her welcome address, highlighted their legacy of courage and selflessness, urging students to embody these values. Guest speaker Dr. Arvinder Singh Aman, retired Special Secretary at JK Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, discussed the historical and contemporary significance of the Sahibzade's martyrdom, inspiring the audience. The program featured poetry recitations and an elocution competition on the theme "Martyrdom of the Sahibzade: Lessons for Humanity," with enthusiastic participation from students across JK UT. Judges included Dr. Davinder Singh, Prof. Parwinder Kour, and Dr. Aman.
