In a joint statement issued by KDP Wing of DPAP through it's President Sanjay Dhar, Chairman Piaray Lal Pandita, General Secretary Shri Raj Kumar Ticku,Charanjeet Singh Publicity Secretary, Daizy Dhar Mahila President, Renu Razdan Mahila Working President and others have demanded for restoration of Reservation regarding the educated wards of Displaced Kashmiri Hindus, in the EMPLOYMENT of Central Government and. U.T. Govt. as a special case, being coming under Minority in Kashmir Valley, having yet recognition of ancestral Valley residential status with even each document linked with Valley addresses. The Leaders have experessed that while announcing a special employment package by the Central Govt.during 2008-09 was introduced as special P.M. Package employment, exclusively meant for Kashmiri Displaced Hindu Wards to the tune of 6000 posts, which unfortunately remained unfilled uptill now in full ,but instead of a healing touch to the educated wards of Displaced Kashmiri Hindus, the successive Govts.have incorporated the wards of various reserved categories viz; SC, ST,LAC,LOC and others in the special P.M.Package recruitment, thereby letting to avail the recruitment by more than a thousand candidates other than wards of Displaced people under reservation categories, besides they have been favoured with Transit Accomodation also although they have never tasted the sufferings of displacement and also having their ancestral houses in Valley. The Leaders have expressed their grave concern over such recruitment mingled with the wards of Displaced people, has totally inflicted injustice with our wards. The Leaders have appealed that instead of providing more recruitment quota in U.T. or in Central Govt.departments the right of special P.M.Package employment stands distributed among various reserved categories, having never tasted genocidal displacement. The Leaders have demanded that the Kashmiri Displaced Hindu wards be provided reservation of Minority for all Central / U.T.Govt.recruitments and the incorporation of reserved categories in recruitment policy provided only for Displaced Kashmiri Hindu wards, be withdrawn to restore the rights to the wards of Displaced people as were envisaged while announcement of special recruitment Package for Migrants children during 2008-09. The Leaders have demanded that the Budgetary Funds on account of Salaries and other components required for P.M.Package employees be brought under U.T. Govt. exchequer with abolishing of their Supernnumary posts by merging them at Par with U.T. Govt. employees, so that the felt disparity is removed once for all. The Leaders have appealed to favour the Kashmiri Displaced People with Minority Status and a suitable reservation provided to the wards of Kashmiri Displaced Hindus in recruitment of U.T./Central Govt. Departments besides, recruitment of three Batalions of special police recruitment drive with special relaxation to the wards of Kashmiri Displaced Hindus is demanded to absorb the low educated youth, enabling to curb the unemployment leading to drug addictions. The Leaders appeal the Director General Of Police to consider recruitment of a special Batalion among unemployed female folk of Displaced Kashmiri Hindus living outside valley with relaxation to the norms for curbing the unemployment among our female folk. |
