JAMMU, Dec 26: On the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas, a solemn event was held at Singh Sabha Gurudwara, Ghari, Poonchi Mohalla, to honor the supreme sacrifices of Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji, the youngest sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Their courage and unwavering devotion to their faith continue to inspire generations.
The gathering included community leaders, devotees, and prominent personalities, with Sham Lal Sharma, MLA Jammu North and former Minister, attending as the chief guest. He spoke about the unparalleled bravery of the Sahibzade, who stood firm for justice, righteousness, and faith, even at a tender age.
Sharma began his visit by seeking blessings in the Gurudwara and joining the Sangat in prayer. He emphasized the importance of remembering the sacrifices of the Sahibzade and urged the youth to draw inspiration from their exemplary lives. He highlighted the values of bravery, moral strength, and dedication to righteousness that the Sahibzade embodied.
He also called for greater awareness among the younger generation about the harmful effects of drug abuse and stressed the need for parents and educators to instill strong moral values. He encouraged youth to engage in community service and contribute to building a harmonious society, rooted in the values of respect, empathy, and integrity.
The event featured spiritual hymns, discourses, and a heartfelt tribute to the Sahibzade. Attendees expressed deep reverence and reflection, with Sr. Harnam Singh Ji, Sr. Tarlochan Singh Ji, and other prominent personalities joining in paying homage.
