| GDC Marh hosts alumni meet SANGAM-III | | |  Early Times Report
MARH, Dec 27: The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Government Degree College (GDC) Marh organized Alumni Meet SANGAM-III, a nostalgic reunion of alumni spanning various batches. The event brought together 70 alumni to reconnect with their alma mater, sharing memories and achievements.
The program commenced with a ceremonial lamp lighting and an inaugural address by Principal Dr. Rakesh Kumar Koul, who emphasized the alumni's role in the college's growth and their contributions to society. Prof. Madhvi Parasher conducted the proceedings, while Prof. Imtiaz Shahid, IQAC convener, highlighted the objectives of fostering strong alumni networks and advancing the institution through collaborative efforts.
Discussions covered future plans for college development, focusing on increasing enrollments, promoting science education, achieving net-zero carbon emissions, and implementing water and energy management initiatives. Alumni shared experiences, with one serving CRPF member inspiring current students to focus on competitive exams.
The executive body of the Alumni Association was honored with mementos for their contributions, including raising funds and establishing an alumni account. The event concluded with refreshments and feedback collection, leaving attendees eager to maintain strong connections with GDC Marh. |
