ADDC Rajouri reviews implementation of HADP Projects | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Dec 30: A crucial meeting to review the implementation of the Holistic Agriculture Development Program (HADP) in Rajouri district was chaired by Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Rajouri, Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa here in the conference hall of the DC Office. The meeting aimed at assessing the progress of various projects under HADP and devising strategies for their effective execution. During the proceedings, the ADDC conducted a detailed review of all projects initiated under HADP and expressed concern over the slow progress and low expenditure. in certain areas. He directed the concerned departments to identify bottlenecks, streamline operations, and ensure timely execution of the projects. The ADDC underscored the importance of strengthening the functioning of Kisan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs), which serve as one-stop centers for farmers to access agricultural and allied services. He instructed officials to focus on operationalizing these centers effectively to ensure their benefits reach the grassroots level. Emphasizing the transformative potential of HADP, the ADDC reiterated the administration's commitment to improving the socio-economic conditions of the farming community. He urged departments to focus on projects with a direct impact on enhancing agricultural productivity and rural livelihoods. The ADDC issued instructions to expedite implementation timelines, achieve expenditure targets and ensure that the benefits of HADP projects are realized by the district's farming community. He also assured regular monitoring of the projects to maintain momentum. Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, District Sheep Husbandry Officer, District Agriculture Officer, Accounts Officer from the DC Office, Assistant Director Fisheries and Lead District Manager (LDM) Rajouri attended the meeting. |
