Road show in support of Leela Karan

Jammu, Apr 8- Intensifying its mass contact program for Lila Karan Sharma, BJP candidate for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha constituency, the party activists undertook a road show here today which started from Janipur Housing Colony, where it was inaugurated by Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta, leader of BJP legislative party.
In his address at different places, Prof. Gupta described Lila Karan Sharma as symbol of Jammu’s struggle for justice and equality and reminded that it was Sharma who didn’t yield to any pressure from any anti-national force and led the struggle to successful end.
Lila Karan Sharma, while addressing the gatherings, said that people of Jammu province have not forgiven Congress for its anti-Jammu stand. Congress has always played second fiddle to Kashmiri leadership and NC-Congress coalition government is a glaring example. Coalition government has shown no interest in solving the long standing problems of this region, he remarked.
Others who addressed the gatherings during the day long road show included Yudhvir Sethi, Ramesh Arora, Sat Sharma, Rajesh Gupta,Chander Mohan Sharma, Surinder Sharma, Dinesh Gupta,Vikram Randhawa, Vinay Gupta, Ravinder Gupta, Balwan Singh, Parduman Singh and Rakesh Gupta,
The Road Show was also conducted at Prem Nagar, Sarwal, New Plot, Toph Sherkhania, Patoli, Rehari Colony, Bakshi Nagar, shakti Nagar, Talab tillo, Maheshpura, Narwal Bala, Bhour Camp, Old Satwari, Gangyal and Sainik Colony.
Lila Karan Sharma also addressed a gathering of members of the Bar Association Jammu in the Court complex Jammu where lawyers’ fraternity extended fall support to him.
Meanwhile, BJP State President Ashok Khajuria addressed election rallies at a number of places in R.S. Pura and Suchetgarh along with the local MLAs Sham Choudhary and Prof. Garu Ram. They highlighted failures of Congress party and asked the people to strengthen BJP assuring that the party will ensure equal treatment and justice to the people of Jammu province.
