DDC Suresh Sharma kick started Development Projects

AKHNOOR, Jan 9: In a significant step towards rural development, BJP leader and District Development Council (DDC) member Pandit Suresh Sharma today launched multiple development works in Kathar Panchayat, located in Block Maira Mandrian. These projects include the construction of the Mohalla Ram Rattan Dhara road, with a budget of ?40 lakh under the State Sector, and five culverts under the Rural Development Department, costing Rs 18 lakh.
These initiatives address the long-standing demands of the residents, promising to improve connectivity and convenience in the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Suresh Sharma reiterated his commitment to ensuring proper road connectivity for every village and neighborhood. "We are dedicated to connecting even the remotest areas with well-constructed roads. Our aim is to leave no village or locality without this basic infrastructure," he emphasized.
Sharma also highlighted the transformative development projects being carried out across the nation under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He mentioned major initiatives such as mega infrastructure projects, national highways, bridges, tunnels, and the newly announced railway division for Jammu which will encompasses key sections, including the Pathankot-Jammu-Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla line, and will oversee iconic projects such as the Anji Khad Bridge and the Chenab Rail Bridge marking a significant milestone in enhancing connectivity and economic development in the region.
The residents of Kathar Panchayat expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Suresh Sharma for initiating these vital projects and applauded his efforts to bring development to their doorstep.
The event was attended by prominent personalities, including BJP leader Ramlal Sharma, Mandal President Gulshan Kumar, Bodhraj Sharma, Parmanand, Captain Rampal, Amit Sharma, Pawan Kumar, Rakesh Kumar, Captain Om Prakash, Prabhu Dayal, Ashok Kumar, Nanak Chand, officials from various departments, and other dignitaries.
