Omar's statement vindicated BJP's stand on India Alliance's 'slyness': Kavinder
1/9/2025 9:53:13 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 9: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta on Thursday asserted that CM Omar Abdullah's remark over ambiguity of India bloc Alliance has vindicated BJP's stance that the group lacked ideology and was the result of conspiracy by certain political entities having common vested interests.
Addressing a meeting of party leaders here at BJP headquarters, the BJP stalwart leader said that Omar's statement on India bloc Alliance has made it clear that the move to form this amalgam was to fool the opposition parties and the people of the country because without dissolving the group today the Congress and the AAP are at loggerheads ahead of Delhi polls.
"If the aforesaid alliance was based on principles, such a situation would have never surfaced where member of the political party, which is important constituent of the alliance, has been raising questions in full public view", he said adding that people should understand the whole gamut and stop supporting any of the constituents of this bogus alliance. He said that going by the statements of Omar Abdullah, one can figure out that the days of aforesaid alliance are numbered as the split between constituent opposition parties has become inevitable.
Later, Kavinder congratulated Raveesh Mengi for being appointed BJP Janipur Mandal President. He said that unlike other political parties, which believe in dynastic politics, BJP is an outfit with exemplary principles as it provides opportunities to the genuine workers without considering their financial standings and political background. He said that for BJP and its leadership, the country always comes first.
Sahil Gupta, Ex. Councillors Subash Sharma and Sunita Gupta, Sangeeta Verma, Sanjay Bhat, Rakesh Gupta, Ashok Sharma, Ramesh Sharma and Kamlesh Shan were also present during the meeting.
