Early Times Report NAGROTA, Jan 21: The NSS Winter Camp at Government Degree College (GDC) Nagrota entered its fourth successful day with an engaging Nukad Natak (street play) organized by NSS volunteers for the students of Government Girls Middle School, K. Nagrota. The Nukad Natak aimed to raise awareness among school students about the importance of good habits and the dangers of bad habits. The play creatively highlighted messages such as saying "No to Junk Food" and "Yes to Fresh Home-Cooked Meals," judiciously using electricity, limiting screen time, and engaging in outdoor play. These values were presented in an entertaining and educational manner, with the hope of shaping the young minds positively. The event was also a platform for NSS volunteers to demonstrate qualities of selflessness, commitment, and community development. The program was attended by NSS committee members, including Prof. Dinesh Singh Chib, Dr. Arvind Sharma, Dr. Radha Rani, and Prof. Jaspal Singh. Prof. Anjali Mahajan, Principal of GDC Nagrota, commended the efforts of the committee and the volunteers, encouraging them to maintain high spirits for the remaining days of the Winter Camp. |
