Kavinder highlights PM Modi’s transformative leadership on National Voters’ Day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 25: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta emphasized the significance of National Voters’ Day, stating that India takes pride in being the world’s largest democracy. He was speaking after addressing a meeting at the BJP headquarters in Jammu, where he lauded the people’s role in strengthening democratic values. Speaking on the occasion, Kavinder credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary leadership for accomplishing what remained undone for seven decades. “Under PM Modi’s dynamic governance, India has witnessed historic transformations. The abrogation of Article 370 was a monumental step in integrating Jammu & Kashmir fully with the nation, a task that previous governments hesitated to undertake,” he asserted. Highlighting key achievements of the Modi government, the senior BJP leader said, “The long exile of Ram Lalla has ended, and a grand Ram Temple now stands in Ayodhya. The Kashi Vishwanath Corridor has been developed, and the Somnath Temple is being adorned with gold, reinforcing our civilizational pride. The abolition of Triple Talaq has empowered Muslim women, ending decades of injustice.” Kavinder also underlined the global recognition of Indian culture, stating that over 170 countries now celebrate and propagate Yoga under PM Modi’s influence. “The government has worked tirelessly to restore India’s lost heritage, bringing back more than 350 stolen idols of deities from foreign lands. India’s cultural and linguistic heritage is being revived on an unprecedented scale,” he added. Kavinder Gupta urged the people to actively participate in the electoral process, stating that every vote is a step toward strengthening democracy and shaping the nation’s future. He reaffirmed BJP’s commitment to nation-building and ensuring that India continues to shine as a global power under PM Modi’s leadership. Among those who were present in the meeting included Bharat Bhushan Chairman Jammu district Rajiv Charak, Sanjay Baru, Darshan Singh, Joginder Sharma, Girdhari Lal Balgotra, Raza Riaz, Rakesh Sharma and Sumit Saharan. |
