| National Voter's Day pledge ceremony held at District Police Lines Udhampur | | |

UDHAMPUR, Jan 25: On the occasion of National Voter's Day, a pledge ceremony was organized at District Police Lines Udhampur, along with all other police establishments across the district. The ceremony was led by Addl. SP Udhampur, Sh. Sandeep Bhat-JKPS, along with DySP Hqrs Udhampur, Sh. Prehlad Sharma, and DySP DAR Udhampur, Sh. Bhutto Choudhary, who administered the Voter's pledge to all officers and officials present.
The pledge was taken with enthusiasm and a firm commitment to the theme of this year's National Voter's Day, "Nothing like Voting, I vote for sure."
In his address, Addl. SP Udhampur emphasized that the main objective of celebrating this day is to strengthen the democratic system by raising awareness among young and future voters about the importance of their vote. He urged participants to spread awareness about the electoral processes and ensure active participation in elections, thereby reinforcing democracy in the country. |
