| Udhampur police destroys 3 quintal of drugs seized in 26 cases | | |

UDHAMPUR, Jan 25: Udhampur Police has destroyed 3 Quintals 10 kg 642 grams of psychotropic substances seized in 26 different NDPS cases. The destroyed items included 310.931 kg of poppy straw, 528.59 grams of heroin, and 114 grams of charas.
The destruction was carried out through controlled incineration at M/S Anmol Healthcare, Vijaypur, Samba, following all required formalities to ensure environmental safety. The process was fully videographed and secured.
This action is in accordance with Section 52-A of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
Earlier, on December 5, 2024, approximately 2000 kg of narcotics was also incinerated by Udhampur Police. |
