Early Times Report

Jammu, Apr 10-Congress candidate for Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency Madan Lal Sharma has said that Congress Government at the Centre is needed for over all benefit and development of Jammu and Kashmir, as Congress has always kept our State on top of its priority.
Addressing a series of meetings at Jhiri, Gajansoo, Nai Basti, Ghou Manhasan, Akalpur, Patnayal along with senior NC leader Ajay Sadotra-MLC and other senior leaders of the alliance, Sharma said that the massive development in the state during the last few years has been because of the approach of Congress led UPA Govt. headed by Dr. Manmohan Singh.
He lashed out at BJP for creating hatred in the society and said that the party has no other welfare and developmental program for the people. The party has always raked up emotional and religious issues at the time of elections but never had the honesty to fulfill those commitments. BJP leaders always played with the sentiment of the Jammu region and are mainly responsible for compromising the interests of people, he alleged.
