JAMMU, Feb 1: Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research (JIAR) observed World Leprosy Day with the theme "Unite. Act. Eliminate." The event, organized by the Post Graduate Department of Kayachikitsa, featured PowerPoint and poster presentations to raise awareness among students and staff. The sessions aimed to highlight the importance of early detection, prevention, and access to effective treatment for leprosy. Experts emphasized the need to eliminate stigma and promote discussions about the disease.
