Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 1: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Institute of Medical Excellence (SMVDIME) and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital (SMVDNSH), in collaboration with the Praja Parishad Memorial Trust, successfully organized a Mega Health Camp at Jourian on the occasion of Shaheedi Diwas. This initiative aimed to provide specialized healthcare services to underserved communities, particularly in remote and border areas, ensuring access to expert medical consultations and essential diagnostics. The camp witnessed an overwhelming response, benefiting over 1,700 patients with free consultations across multiple specialties, including orthopedics, internal medicine, dermatology, gynecology, general surgery, ENT, ophthalmology, dental, and pediatrics. Senior consultants from SMVDIME and SMVDNSH provided expert medical guidance, addressing a wide range of health concerns and advising patients on necessary treatments. In addition to consultations, the camp offered comprehensive diagnostic services, facilitating early detection of various medical conditions: 400+ lab tests conducted 105 X-rays performed 200+ ECGs recorded for cardiac assessment 20 mammograms for early breast cancer screening To ensure immediate relief and treatment, thousands of free medicines were distributed to patients.
