NEW DELHI, Feb 5: Galgotias University inaugurated a six-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Microchip Embedded Systems, organized by the Department of Electrical, Electronics, and Communication Engineering in collaboration with EduSkills Foundation and Microchip Technology. The program is designed to enhance faculty expertise in embedded systems, fostering innovation and industry collaboration.
The event began with a lamp-lighting ceremony and a welcome address by the organizing secretary. Vice Chancellor Dr. K.M. Babu delivered an inspiring speech, stressing the importance of continuous learning and integrating embedded systems into teaching. Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Avadhesh Kumar highlighted academia-industry partnerships, while Chancellor Mr. Sunil Galgotia emphasized the need for technical proficiency. CEO Dr. Dhruv Galgotia motivated participants to embrace advancements in embedded systems and AI.
Chief guest Mr. Prabhupada Samal from EduSkills Foundation led a technical session on microcontrollers and programming using Microchip kits. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Meenakshi Awasthi, Head of the Department.
