Early Times Report RAMNAGAR, Feb 5: The Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Field Office, Udhampur, organized an Integrated Communication and Outreach Programme (ICOP) at Government Girls High School, Ramnagar. The event focused on key Flagship Schemes of the Government of India, including New Criminal Laws, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, PM Jan Arogya Yojana, Mission LiFE, Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam, and Nasha Mukt Bharat. Shri Rajinder Singh Rana, Sub Divisional Magistrate of Ramnagar, was the Chief Guest at the event, where activities such as expert lectures, skits, quiz contests, group discussions, and a plantation drive were held. Speaking at the event, Shri Rana praised the CBC's efforts in spreading awareness at the grassroots level and emphasized the importance of such initiatives in combating societal issues. Shri Gurnam Singh, In-Charge Field Office, CBC, thanked the administration and community for their support. Resource persons, including Dr. Sham Singh, Shri Deep Singh, Shri Partap Chand, and Sub Inspector Shri Yogeshwar, delivered lectures on the various schemes. A rally promoting the Nasha Mukt Bharat initiative saw the participation of about 200 students and staff. The event also featured theme-based songs by CBC artists, and a plantation drive to promote "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam." Headmaster Shri Bodh Raj concluded the event with a vote of thanks. |
