Early Times Report RS PURA, Feb 11: The NSS unit of Government Degree College (GDC), R.S. Pura, continued its beautification and cleanliness drive on the 4th day of the Winter Camp, reinforcing its commitment to environmental responsibility and social awareness. Under the supervision of Dr. Chanchal Angral (NSS PO), volunteers actively cleaned the campus, removed waste, and organized a slogan-writing and painting competition to highlight social issues such as anti-ragging, drug abuse, gender equality, and women empowerment. The initiative, held under the guidance of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Preetpal Kour, was praised for promoting a cleaner, greener environment and social consciousness. She encouraged students to participate in such activities for their lasting impact on society. The Winter Camp will continue with more community-based initiatives, fostering a deeper sense of social responsibility. Dr. Akriti Parihar, Dr. Hari Singh, Dr. Sunil Kumar Mangoch, and Dr. Savleen Kour were among the faculty members actively involved in the event. |
