JAMMU, Feb 12: National Conference Additional General Secretary and former Minister Ajay Kumar Sadhotra has expressed deep grief over the martyrdom of an Army Captain and a soldier in an IED blast in Akhnoor sector, calling it a tragic loss for the nation.
Condemning the cowardly attack, Sadhotra criticized the BJP government's claims of normalcy post-August 5, 2019, stating that continued terrorist incidents prove otherwise.
He accused Pakistan of persistently fueling terrorism to disrupt peace in the region and demanded a strong, decisive response against terror elements and their supporters.
"The enemies of the nation must be given a befitting response. Jammu should not be allowed to become a soft target for terrorism. The government must take strict security measures to safeguard the people," he asserted.
Expressing solidarity with the bereaved families, Sadhotra lauded the courage and sacrifice of the armed forces and urged people to remain united and vigilant in the fight against terrorism. |
