SAMBA, Feb 15: SSP Samba, Virinder Singh Manhas, JKPS, inaugurated a T-20 Cricket Tournament at District Police Lines Samba under the Civic Action Programme. He was accompanied by Addl. SP Samba, DySP Hqrs Samba, SDPO Vijaypur, DySP Oprs Samba, and DySP DAR Samba.
The tournament, featuring 20 teams, will be played on a knockout basis. The inaugural match saw Aryan Cricket Club Samba securing a victory over Chichi Mata Cricket Club Samba.
Addressing the participants, SSP Samba encouraged the teams to play with professionalism and sportsmanship. He highlighted the role of such events in providing a platform for young athletes to showcase their talent and positively channel their energy. |
