JAMMU, Feb 17: The NSS Wing and Red Cross Committee in collaboration with the civil defence Jammu inaugurated a Civil Defence Training Camp today, February 17, under the patronage of Dr. Shallu Samyal, Principal of the college. The event began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by a welcome address delivered by Dr. Koushal Kiran, Convenor of the Red Cross Committee. During the inauguration ceremony, the instructor enlightened volunteers about the formation of Civil Defence, its role in society, and its usefulness in everyday life. Deputy Controller Ms. Anita Pawar addressed the students about the essence of Civil Defence Training. Along with Dy. Controller Anita Pawar, the team of civil Defence Shri. Paramjit Kumar, Chief Warden Civil Defence and Shri. R.v. MANGOTRA, Dy. Chief Warden Civil Defence graced the occasion.The instructor Rajender ji talked comprehensively on life saving skills and and aware the volunteers on its paramountcy in daily life, the event was concluded with the vote of thanks.
