Early Times Report MAHANPUR, Feb 17: The NSS Unit of GDC Mahanpur, in collaboration with the Department of Physical Education and Department of Hindi, celebrated 75 years of the adoption of the Indian Constitution and the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on February 17, 2025. The event was organized by Dr. Rupalee Jasrotia (NSS Programme Officer), along with Dr. Jogbinder Singh Soodan and Dr. Sapna, under the guidance of Principal Dr. Sangeeta Sudan. The program began with the recitation of the Preamble, led by teaching, non-teaching staff, and students, emphasizing the Constitution's significance in shaping the nation's values and ideals. A PowerPoint presentation on Fundamental Rights and Duties was shown to students, followed by a lecture by Dr. Rupalee Jasrotia, who highlighted the role of rights and duties in ensuring social justice and maintaining a balance between individual freedoms and responsibilities. Prominent faculty members, including Dr. Mohinder Nath Sharma, Dr. Sudesh Kumar, Ms. Nisha, Dr. Babli, Dr. Anju Bala, Dr. Yograj, Dr. Nishu, and others, attended the event. More than 60 students participated with enthusiasm, making the celebration a resounding success. |
