Led by State Tax Officers, specially constituted teams visited various business units in Rajouri, Kishtwar and Kathua simultaneously to investigate violations under GST Law by verifying documents, physical stock position, bill books etc. While giving details on these drives, Additional Commissioner (Enforcement and Administration) Jammu, Namrita Dogra said, “The inspections are part of enforcement activity. 13 teams have been constituted to carry out inspections across the division”. She added that teams specifically targeted dealers who were found engaged in sale suppression and fake invoicing.
