Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 19: The Electoral Literacy Club, in collaboration with the NSS unit of GDC Sidhra, organized a collage-making and creative writing competition as part of the 75th-anniversary celebrations of the adoption of the Indian Constitution. The theme for the creative writing activity, "Imagine a Country Without a Constitution," encouraged students from BA and B.Com (IV & VI semesters) to reflect on the significance of the Constitution in their daily lives. Through their writings, students highlighted how the absence of a Constitution could lead to chaos, lack of rights, and absence of governance, making them realize the liberties and freedoms often taken for granted. The event was organized by Dr. Meesha Bhagat, Convener of the Electoral Literacy Club, and Dr. Purvaiya Hans, NSS Programme Officer, under the guidance of Dr. G.S. Rakwal, Principal, GDC Sidhra. The competition successfully instilled awareness about the importance of constitutional values among students. |
