| SSP Udhampur holds PCPG meeting at Basantgarh | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Feb 19: A Police public meeting was chaired by Amod Ashok Nagpure, IPS, SSP Udhampur accompained by Sh. Pritpal Singh SP PC Latti, DYSP PC BASANTGARH Sh. Charanjeet Singh, SHO PS Basantgarh at Basantgarh town. The meeting was attended by the respectables of different mohallas of jurisdiction of PS Basantgarh including Ex-Police personnel, Chowkidars, Panches, Sarpanches and youth of the area.
The aim and objective of the meet was to discuss and get acquainted with the problems being faced by the inhabitants of the area. The thrust of the meet was to develop a sense of consciousness amongst the general public of the latest types of crimes, making the people aware of the preventive steps to be taken and to address the issue of growing drug abuse in the youth and awareness about new criminal laws. The chairing officer also sought their cooperation in maintaining peace and stability in the area besides identifying anti-national &anti-social elements.
The participants were assured by the SSP Udhampur for the appropriate disposal of all the points put forth by the locals. SSP Udhampur also assured the participants of all possible help from police side and at the same time suggested the participants to extend their cooperation for the eradication of social evils. |
