JAMMU, Feb 19: Anand Jain, IPS, ADGP Armed J&K, visited the Armed Police Complex, Channi Himmat, Jammu, and participated in the Shramdaan Safai Abhiyan organized by IRP 14th Battalion.
On his arrival, the ADGP was accorded a Guard of Honour by a contingent of IRP-14th Bn. Accompanied by DIG Armed Jammu, Shri Vinod Kumar, IPS, he actively took part in the cleanliness drive, emphasizing the importance of environmental protection and dignity of labour.
During the inspection, the ADGP directed the Commandants to ensure proper living conditions and hygiene for the personnel. Commandant IRP-14th Bn, Shri Abrar Choudhary, SSP, briefed the ADGP about the infrastructural requirements of the complex and expressed gratitude for his visit and encouragement.
The event was attended by senior police officers, including Shri Mohd Aslam, IPS (CO IRP-24th Bn), Ramesh Chander Kotwal, SSP (CO Women 1st Bn), Abrar Ahmad Choudhary (CO IR 14th Bn), Sanjeev Khajuria, SSP (CO JKAP 7th Bn), Rajinder Singh, SSP (APCR Jammu), and Achyut Singh, CO 7th SSB Bn.
The visit served as a motivational boost for the personnel, reinforcing the importance of cleanliness, discipline, and welfare within the force. |
