Traffic police Jammu cracks down on overloaded passenger vehicles | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 19: In a bid to curb the rising menace of overloading in passenger vehicles, Traffic Police City Jammu launched a special enforcement drive today. All enforcement and supervisory officers were directed to take strict action against overloaded Public Service Vehicles (PSVs), which pose a serious risk to passengers and other commuters. During the drive, 180 violators were booked under the Motor Vehicles Act for overloading. Operators and drivers were advised to avoid overloading to prevent legal action and ensure passenger safety. The Traffic Police reiterated its zero-tolerance policy against overloading and urged the general public not to board overloaded vehicles.
