Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 20: Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu, proudly participated in the Diamond Jubilee Jamboree of the Bharat Scouts and Guides, celebrating 75 years of scouting excellence. The prestigious event, held in Trichy, Tamil Nadu, brought together young Scouts and Guides from across the nation to foster leadership, teamwork, and cultural exchange. Representing Jammu Sanskriti School, nine enthusiastic students-three from the Scouts group and six from the Guides group-took part in this grand gathering. Accompanying them were Manpreet (Teacher), Gitanjali Anand (Guide Captain), and Surjeet Singh (Scout Master), ensuring a seamless and enriching experience throughout the seven-day camp. Distinguished Participants from JSS Jammu: Scouts and Guides were Aadesh Sharma (9th), Anirudh Singh Charak (9th), Rajveer Singh Charak (9th) Shivani Maurya (9th), Simar Saini (9th), Sonakshi Saini (9th), Sharvi Sharma (9th), Divya Sharma (9th), Nimiksha (9th). The students made the school proud by earning the following prestigious certificates: Certificate of Participation Certificate of Integration Activities and Certificate of Jamboree Award Activities. The camp featured an array of activities designed to enhance practical skills, leadership, and cultural appreciation: Tent Making: Encouraged teamwork and problem-solving skills. State Exhibition: Showcased India's cultural diversity through creative displays. Art and Craft Talent Hunt: Provided a platform to explore artistic talents. Trekking & Adventure Activities: Built resilience and a spirit of adventure. Pageant Show: Boosted confidence and self-expression. Cultural Folk Dance Competition: Promoted India's rich heritage through vibrant performances. Closing Ceremonies: Reflected on daily learnings and fostered a sense of camaraderie. These experiences not only enhanced the students' confidence but also instilled values of discipline, leadership, and unity.
