Jammu, Feb 20: Kawa College of Education, Patoli Gurha Brahmana, organized a one-day extension lecture on the Constructivist Approach to enhance the teaching-learning process. The session was delivered by Dr. Meenakshi Choudhary, Assistant Professor, University of Jammu, an expert in education methodology. Dr. Choudhary elaborated on constructivist principles, including the 5E’s Model, emphasizing learner-centered pedagogy, experiential learning, and active engagement. She highlighted the teacher’s role as a facilitator, guiding students to construct knowledge through critical thinking and collaboration rather than rote memorization. Faculty members, students, and aspiring educators actively participated in the interactive session, engaging in discussions and posing insightful questions. The event was highly appreciated for its relevance in modern education.
