Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 21: Shri Anand Jain, IPS, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Armed J&K, visited JKAP 8th Battalion, Miran Sahib, Jammu, to review the battalion's functioning and infrastructure. On arrival, the ADGP was accorded a Guard of Honour by a contingent of JKAP 8th Battalion. He was accompanied by DIG Armed Jammu, Shri Vinod Kumar, IPS. During his visit, the ADGP conducted a thorough inspection of various establishments, including the administrative block, barracks, mess, Kot, MT fleet, canteens, stores, and the overall battalion premises. Addressing a Darbar of personnel, Shri Anand Jain listened to their grievances and issued on-the-spot instructions for their timely resolution. He emphasized the welfare and service-related issues of the personnel and lauded their dedication and commitment to duty. The ADGP stressed maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the battalion and directed regular cleanliness drives. He also instructed the Commandant to conduct medical check-ups for all personnel to enhance their health standards.
