Rajouri, Feb 22: The Indian Army organised tree plantation drive at Government Primary School, Haratali. The campaign was aimed at promoting tree plantation, environmental conservation, improve air quality and support biodiversity. With a vision to create a greener and healthier nation, the campaign engaged local volunteers and government entities to work collectively towards safeguarding the environment for future generations. The locals paid keen interest and actively participated in the tree plantation event. This campaign is a call to action for every individual to become a custodian of our environment. By planting trees today, we are securing a vibrant and sustainable future for generations to come and sowing the seeds of change for better tomorrow. As we embark on this journey towards a greener and healthier future, the tree plantation campaign invites everyone to come together and take ownership of our environment. During the campaign a total of 14 saplings were planted by the Indian Army with an aim to increase the ‘Green Cover’ in the region and persuade people to curb deforestation and promote a clean and green future. |
