Sunderbani, Feb 22: The NCC Unit of GDC Sunderbani, in collaboration with the Department of Sociology, organized a Plantation Drive on the college campus as part of the Green Campus Initiative.
This initiative aims to promote environmental sustainability and enhance the green cover within the college premises.
The drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and staff, who planted a variety of native and eco-friendly tree species.
The initiative underscores the commitment of GDC Sunderbani towards fostering a cleaner and greener learning environment. Dr. Akhil Khajuria, ANO of the college, along with Prof. Rajat Bhardwaj and Prof. Davinder Kumar, conducted awareness sessions highlighting the importance of afforestation, biodiversity conservation, and measures to combat climate change.
Their insightful discussions encouraged participants to take proactive steps in environmental preservation. The entire event was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Ashu Vashisht, Principal of the college.
