Jammu, Feb 23: Under the divine blessings of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, the third phase of ‘Project Amrit’ under the theme ‘Swachh Jal Swachh Mann’ was successfully conducted across 1600 locations in 900 cities spanning 27 states and union territories of India. Organized by the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, this large-scale initiative aligns with the teachings of Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj and aims to promote water conservation and cleanliness. Launched in 2023 in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, ‘Project Amrit’ focuses on cleaning and preserving rivers, lakes, ponds, wells, and springs while fostering a mindset of water conservation. Building on the success of its first two phases, the third phase was undertaken with a broader and long-term vision to instill awareness and dedication towards environmental responsibility. In Jammu & Kashmir UT, the project was conducted at nearly 30 locations, with a major cleanliness drive held at the banks of River Tawi, Sidhra, Jammu. Ajit Singh, Zonal Incharge of Sant Nirankari Mission Jammu, emphasized the project’s goal of ensuring future generations inherit clean water and a healthier environment through awareness, service, and collective effort. |
