Bishnah, Feb 23: The 507th Kabir Nirvan Divas was solemnly commemorated today at Shiromani Sant Kabir Bhawan, Chak Avtara, Bishnah, with a large public gathering in attendance. Devotees and followers from the districts of Jammu, Samba, Kathua, and Reasi participated in the event in the thousands, reflecting their deep reverence for the teachings of Sant Kabir.
The event featured a spiritually enriching Satsang conducted by Mahant Bitta Dass Ji, who expounded on the bani (teachings) of Kabir Sahib, highlighting the eternal message of equality, love, and truth.
Faqir Chand Bhagat, Chairman of Shiromani Kabir Bhawan, addressed the gathering and emphasized Kabir Ji’s philosophy of universal brotherhood and equality. He urged the public to embrace Kabir Sahib’s teachings of treating all humanity as one, transcending caste, creed, and social divisions.
Several prominent dignitaries graced the occasion and shared their views, including Sh. Jugal Kishore Ji, Hon’ble Member of Parliament; Sh. Ravinder Raina, Former State President BJP; Dr. D.K. Manyal, MLA Ramgarh; Dr. Rajib Bhagat, MLA Bishnah; Ashwani Sharma, Ex-MLA; Dharmindar Kumar, DDC Bishnah; Sh. G.R. Bhagat, IAS; Harbhajan Pammi Ji, Choudhary Balkar Ji and Dr. Gurdass Bhagat, among others.
The commemoration served as a reminder of Sant Kabir’s timeless message of human unity, moral integrity, and social harmony. The attendees expressed their commitment to following the path of truth and equality as propagated by Kabir Sahib.
