TNWS organizes police-public meeting with SHO Trikuta Nagar

Jammu, Feb 23: Team Trikuta Nagar Welfare Society (Regd.) hosted a police-public meeting at its office in Main Market, Trikuta Nagar Colony, Jammu. Inspector Rajesh Jasrotia, SHO Trikuta Nagar Police Station, was invited as the chief guest.
TNWS President Rajinder P. Kakkar welcomed the gathering with a presentation of Shri Mad Bhagwat Geeta, a Saropa, and the society’s news magazine.
He introduced the society members and highlighted various activities undertaken by TNWS during 2023–2024. He also read out concerns and suggestions from Trikuta Nagar residents, focusing on proactive measures against thefts, scooty lifting, drug abuse, and general crime.
SHO Rajesh Jasrotia patiently addressed residents’ grievances and assured action on key issues. He emphasized community cooperation, suggesting the appointment of at least one chowkidar for every 100 houses. He also shared that 15 cases had been solved and court proceedings were underway. To strengthen security, he committed to increasing flying squad patrols in vulnerable areas at times suggested by society members.
He also assured full police support and pledged to share beat constables’ contact details in society’s social media groups for better coordination.
Er. Ashok Kumar Arora, TNWS patron, delivered the vote of thanks, appreciating the presence of guests, residents, and media representatives.
The event saw participation from prominent residents, including Advocate Harshvardhan Gupta, Vijay Gupta, Sandeep Sharma, S.N. Kaul, Krishan Lal Gupta, Dr. T.R. Gupta, O.P. Sharma, Er. Varinder Kumar Suri, Ramneek Dubey, R.K. Kakroo, Kewal Sher, and S. Amarjeet Singh, who actively engaged in the interactive session.
