JAMMU, Feb 28: JKSPYM State Level Coordinating Agency J&K organized "Two-days Certificate Training Program on "Drug De-addiction Management & Treatment" on Feb 27th & 28th, 2025 at SLCA Training Hall, Jammu in collaboration with the NISD, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India. Training Program was attended by 25 participants. Resource persons for 2-days Training Program were Dr. Arun Sharma, Dr. Abhishek Chauhan, Ms. Pallavi Singh, Mr. Rohit Abrol, Mrs.Virendar Kaur, Mrs. Rajni Bala and SLCA team.
Program initiated with the inaugural ceremony and Ms. Pallavi Singh introduced JKSPYM and SLCA and the motive of training. Dr. Abhishek Chauhan took the first session on "Basic Drug Education". Topics taken in training program were "Brief description of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan", "Basic drug Education", "SUD Principles and Approaches", "Basic Counselling Skills", "Screening and Assessment" "Introduction and administration of ASSIST tool", "Harm Reduction for people using psychoactive substances". Two-days training program concluded with the certificate distribution function. Program ended with the vote of thanks to resource persons and all the participants by Ms. Kimi Padhiar, SLCA Official. |
