Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, Mar 4: District Youth Officer Khushal Gupta has called for maximum youth participation in the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament, an initiative by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. Addressing the media in Udhampur, he emphasized the importance of youth engagement in shaping India's future. The Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2025 will be organized in a restructured format across 301 nodal districts, aligning with the Prime Minister's vision of empowering young voices. Youth aged 18-25 years can apply via the MY Bharat portal (mybharat.gov.in) before March 9, 2025. Applicants must upload a one-minute video on the topic "What does Viksit Bharat mean to you?" Following the initial screening, 150 participants per district will be shortlisted for physical deliberations on "One Nation, One Election: Paving the Way for Viksit Bharat." Out of these, 10 finalists will get the opportunity to speak in the State Legislative Assembly. Gupta encouraged youth from Udhampur, Reasi, Doda, Kishtwar, Ramban, Srinagar, Ganderbal, Pulwama, Anantnag, Kulgam, and Shopian to seize this opportunity. He advised interested candidates to visit the nearest NYK Office or NSS Programme Officer for further guidance. |
