Jammu, Mar 4: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu has been highly commended for the BGA Business School Impact Award 2025, recognizing its significant contributions to fostering diversity, inclusion, and societal impact.
IIM Jammu’s Centre for Diversity & Inclusion, the first of its kind in India for marginalized communities, was praised for its transformative initiatives. Established in collaboration with DICCI and CII, the Centre was inaugurated in June 2022 by then President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind.
The Centre has played a pivotal role in empowering entrepreneurs from marginalized backgrounds by providing essential resources, mentorship, and training. Dr. Milind P. Kamble, Chairman, Board of Governors, and Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu, reaffirmed the institute’s commitment to fostering an inclusive society and impactful leadership. The award was presented by Mr. Andrew Main Wilson, CEO of AMBA & BGA, to Dr. Mahesh Gadekar, Chairperson, Centre for Diversity & Inclusion, IIM Jammu, at Hyatt Regency, New Delhi. This recognition further solidifies IIM Jammu’s position as a leader in academic excellence and social responsibility. |
