UDHAMPUR, Mar 4: As part of the ongoing 74th ESIC Foundation Day and fortnight-long celebrations aimed at promoting health awareness and employee welfare, a health check-up camp was conducted at Shree Ram Cement Factory, Battal Ballian, SICOP, Udhampur.
The event was graced by Dr. Vanora Nongrum , Zonal Medical Commissioner (North Zone) along with Dr. Gurjot Kaur , State Medical Officer, Dr. Shaveta Gandhi , Medical Vigilance Officer and Dr. Nindiya Medical officer of DCBO Udhampur
The camp primarily focused on screening for blood sugar and blood pressure (BP) conducted by Dr. Nindiya Sharma Medical Officer-in-Charge and Mr. Om Prakash Saini , Nursing Officer.
Additionally, Branch Manager Mr. Deepak highlighted the various medical benefits available under the ESIC scheme , emphasizing the organization's commitment to employee welfare.
During the event Dr. Vanora Nongrum interacted with insured persons (IP) and emphasized ESIC crucial role in providing healthcare, financial security, and medical assistance to industrial workers and their families .
The initiative reinforced ESIC's dedication to preventive healthcare and served as an important platform to raise awareness about the significance of regular health check-ups among industrial workers. |
