Jalandhar, Mar 4: The campus of Lovely Professional University (LPU) was filled with excitement as the university hosted its Placement Day 2025 event, bringing together faculty, students, staff, and parents to celebrate significant placement milestones. A total of 1,700 students secured placements with top multinational companies, all receiving offers above Rs 10 LPA. Among them, one exceptional student was offered a staggering package of Rs 1.02 crore. This celebration reflected the university’s firm commitment to academic excellence and its pivotal role in shaping the future of its graduates.
LPU’s placement record continues to be outstanding, with over 4000+ top companies actively recruiting from the university, including prestigious global names like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Servicenow, Cisco, TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, and Cognizant. A standout achievement was Betireddy Naga Vamsi Reddy from the School of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, who secured an extraordinary Rs 1.02 crore package and is set to graduate in May 2025. This session saw exceptional placements across all departments, with impressive packages, including Rs 53 LPA in the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Rs 24 LPA in Architecture and Design and Computer Applications, Rs 23.25 LPA in Design and Multimedia, and Rs 20.32 LPA in the Mittal School of Business. The average package for the top 10% of students stood at Rs 12.19 LPA, with six students receiving packages above Rs 50 LPA, twelve others in the Rs 40-50 LPA range, and 57 students securing placements with packages ranging from Rs 20-30 LPA. These figures highlight the global demand and exceptional caliber of LPU graduates.
Congratulating the placed students and the dedicated teams at the Division of Career Services and the Centre for Professional Enhancement, Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Founder Chancellor of LPU, remarked, “LPU is not just educating; it’s empowering students to become future leaders. LPU’s curriculum is continuously evolving, aligning with and staying ahead of the dynamic demands of the industry. Through the EduRevolution initiative, we have integrated flexible, student-centric learning, blending AI, real-world applications, and gamification. This innovative approach ensures that LPU graduates are not only job-ready but equipped to navigate the ever-changing job market.” Dr. Mittal further noted that LPU invests significantly in providing students with advanced training, exposure to industry trends, and a comprehensive, future-focused curriculum. Dr. Mittal asserted that these forward-thinking initiatives make LPU the institution of choice for leading recruiters.
The event was filled with pride and excitement as thousands of students, wearing sashes labelled proud verto, gathered in a central location on campus to commemorate this achievement. The festivities included group photographs with university dignitaries and the release of colorful balloons into the sky. A grand procession, accompanied by the lively tunes of a pipe band and the rhythmic beat of drums, made its way through the campus. Along the way, students stopped at the Centre for Professional Enhancement and the Division of Career Services, both of which had been instrumental in guiding them toward their career successes. During the celebrations, Vamsi, a BTech ECE student, shared and encouraged his peers and juniors to go beyond academics, urging them to actively engage in live projects, workshops, and campus clubs of LPU to gain valuable exposure and knowledge.
