Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 5: Jammu and Kashmir Police in Jammu organized a debate competition on the theme "Nasha Mukht Bharat" at Government Shri Ranbir Model Higher Secondary School, Jammu. This event was part of the "Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyaan", a nationwide campaign aimed at making India drug-free under the Civic Action Programme (CAP). The program was supervised by SSP Jammu, Shri Joginder Singh, and attended by senior officers, including Superintendent of Police City North, Jammu, Shri Vivek Shekhar-JKPS, SPDO City North, Jammu, Shri Vikram Singh-JKPS, and SHO P/S Pacca Danga, Jammu, Shri Rakesh Kumar. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and other attendees, who engaged in the debate with zeal and enthusiasm. The officers emphasized the urgent need to protect the younger generation from the menace of drug abuse, highlighting its devastating consequences on individuals, families, and society. He also encouraged the installation of CCTV cameras under Operation Third Eye to enhance security. SHO P/S Pacca Danga, Shri Rakesh Kumar, assured that the police will remain vigilant and take swift action against any suspicious activities. He stressed the importance of community cooperation in tackling drug-related issues and ensuring a safer environment.
