Early Times Report RAJOURI, Mar 12: A one-day awareness and sensitization programme on promoting intergenerational bonding was successfully conducted at Modern Education Institute, Choudhary-Nar (Rajouri). Organized by the Human Organisation for Patronisation of Environment (HOPE) and supported by the National Institute of Social Defence under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, the event aimed to strengthen relationships between senior citizens and younger generations. The programme featured insightful sessions from renowned resource persons, including Mr. Minkle Kumar, Sarpanch Abdul Rakhman, Principal Sheen Wani, Incharge Shabnam Wani, and staff teachers Gulshan Naaz, Apurva Jamwal, Saima Kousar, Haseena Khan, Raila Querashi, Aisha Parveen, Khalida Kousar, Lateef Choudhary, along with local villagers. Discussions highlighted the importance of mutual respect, emotional support, and understanding between generations. Students, teachers, and senior citizens actively participated, sharing their experiences and ideas on bridging the generational gap. To encourage engagement, HOPE distributed prizes to participants, recognizing their enthusiasm and contributions.
