District hospital Kishtwar gets Colour Doppler Ultrasound System | | | Early Times Report KISHTWAR, Mar 12: In a significant step towards enhancing healthcare services in the district, Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Kumar Shavan today inaugurated a newly installed Colour Doppler Ultrasound system at the Outpatient Department (OPD) of District Hospital Kishtwar. The hi-tech diagnostic facility costing Rs 16 lakh has been funded under the Pakal Dul Hydroelectric Power Project (HEP) Rehabilitation and Resettlement (RR) Plan for 2024-25. Meanwhile, the DC also e-inaugurated a Patient Monitor, Defibrillator, 12-Channel ECG Machine, and other critical devices at PHC Chatroo provided under the same Plan. Terming the facility a major upgrade in diagnostic services, the DC emphasized the administration's commitment to improve medical infrastructure and ensure quality healthcare for the residents of Kishtwar and surrounding areas. The inauguration event was attended by Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr. Rajinder Kumar; Medical Superintendent (MS) Dr. Yudhvir Singh Kotwal; Dr Sham Lal Sakolia (Radiologist) and other hospital staff. |
