Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 12: Cluster University of Jammu (CLUJ), J&K, and Desh Bhagat University (DBU), Punjab, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen academic ties, foster research collaboration, and enhance professional opportunities for students and faculty members. The MoU was formally signed by Ms. Ankur Mahajan, Registrar of CLUJ, and the Registrar of DBU, in the presence of senior officials and academic leaders from both institutions. The signing ceremony witnessed a comprehensive briefing by Dr. K.S. Chandrasekar, Vice-Chancellor of CLUJ, on the university's vision and initiatives, while Ms. Pooja, Director of Placement at DBU, provided an overview of DBU's academic and industry-oriented programs. The collaboration aims to facilitate: Joint Job Fairs & Placement Drives - The first job fair is scheduled for April 2025 at CLUJ. Industry-Specific Workshops & Internships - To bridge the gap between academia and industry. Research Collaborations & Exchange Programs - Encouraging knowledge-sharing and innovation. The event was attended by distinguished guests, including Deans, Principals of constituent colleges, and FA/CAO. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. D.S. Manhas, Director, Placement Cell, CLUJ.
