HPS hosts Inter-Class Hindi Poetry Recitation Competition

JAMMU, Mar 15: An Inter-Class Hindi Poetry Recitation Competition was organised recently at Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana for classes 1st to 5th. The participants from all the respective classes left no stone unturned to win for their class and actively participated in the competition with great enthusiasm. All the participants enthralled the audience with their articulation and memory skills while reciting poems. During the competition students expressed their thoughts, feeling, rhyme and rhythm with confidence. The participants came up with different poems on various themes like Patriotism, Nature, Festivals, Season etc and recited them with great fondness and zeal. Students were judged on the parameters like confidence, pronunciation, tone and presentation etc.
The winners of the Competition were Ridhika (1st C), who secured 1st position, Kayna (1st A) secured 2nd position and Avni (1st B) won 3rd position. Reyansh (2nd D) stood at 1st position, Avni (2nd B) won 2nd position and Adhiraj (2nd B) got 3rd position. From class 3rd Mehpreet (3rd G) and Vidhi (3rd D) secured 1st position, Kanak Singh (3rd C) won 2nd position and Adheshwar of (3rd A) got 3rd position. Himanshi (4th A) stood at 1st position, Himani (4th C) got 2nd position and Jeevika (4th G) won 3rd position. Likewise, in class 5th 1st position is secured by Aaradhya Gupta (5th C), Pervinder (5th G) and Manan (5th A) got 2nd position and Sakshi (5th B) won 3rd position.
The competition was organised under the guidance of Vice-Principal, Mrs. Anku Charak, High Wing Incharge, Ms. Namrta Sharma and Primary Wing Incharge, Mrs. Vandana Sharma. All the winners were honoured with the merit certificates by the Principal, Mr. Gaurav Charak. Ms. Monika Saini, (PRT Teacher) was the presenter of the competition. The competition was judged by Shri. Ravinder Sadhu, Administrator Officer, Ms. Neha Devi (TGT Hindi Teacher) and Ms. Nirmal Kour, Co-ordinator Primary Wing.
Principal of the school, Mr. Gaurav Charak, congratulated all the winners and said it was a splendid opportunity for the students to gain confidence through stage exposure. Vice-Principal, Mrs. Anku Charak also commended the participants for their enthusiasm, talent and the efforts they put into delivering their performances.
