| Samba, Mar 15: Acting swiftly, Samba Police successfully traced and recovered a missing 15-year-old girl within 48 hours of her disappearance. On March 13, the girl’s father, a resident of Papar Avtara, lodged a complaint at Police Station Samba, reporting that his daughter had gone missing despite extensive search efforts by the family. A case (FIR No. 65/2025) was registered under Section 137(2) BNS, and an intensive search operation was launched. A police team led by Incharge PP Mansar used technical analysis and ground efforts to locate the girl. After following due legal procedures, the girl was presented before the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), Samba, and later handed over to her family. |
