Early Times Report SAMBA, Mar 17: The NSS unit of SPPND Government Degree College Samba, inaugurated its 7 day special Camp with a visit to a special school, focusing on engagement and inclusivity. NSS Volunteers distributed crayons to the children, encouraging creativity and self-expression through art. To add joy to the day, a fun-filled "Blow the Balloon" activity was organized, bringing smiles to the faces of the children as they actively participated alongside NSS volunteers. The NSS unit will held a series of events including Blood donation Camp, Anganwari Visit, Awareness Campaign on Drug Addiction, Poster Making, Rally, Wall Paint, Swachh Bharat Campaign and lecture on Personal Health and Hygiene in the forthcoming week. Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Twinkle Suri, lauded the initiative, emphasizing the role of youth in community service. She highlighted that such activities foster empathy, teamwork and a sense of social responsibility among students. The camp will continue with various interactive and service-oriented programs throughout the week, aimed at holistic development and community outreach. |
