SUNDERBANI, Mar 19: The NSS Unit of Government Degree College (GDC), Sunderbani, organized a cleanliness drive on March 19, 2025, as part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from NSS volunteers, students, and faculty members, demonstrating a collective commitment to maintaining a cleaner environment.
During the drive, volunteers actively cleaned various sections of the campus, including corridors, gardens, and common areas. Awareness campaigns were also conducted to educate students on waste segregation, reducing plastic usage, and the significance of personal and community hygiene.
Speaking on the occasion, NSS Program Officer Dr. Manjeet Singh praised the dedication of the volunteers and emphasized the vital role of youth in furthering the objectives of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
