JAMMU, Mar 19: A disturbing video circulating on social media showing a man mercilessly beating his wife with a lathi has prompted swift action by Jammu Police.
Taking immediate cognizance, Police Station Amb Gharota registered FIR No. 32/2025 under Sections 109, 126(2), 115, 191(2)(3), 190, 351(2), 352, and 118 of BNS on March 9, 2025. The accused, Sadaq Hussain, a resident of Pamali Jandyal, has been arrested and is currently in police remand. Further investigation is underway. |
